Naturalistic excursion which explores the sector of the Natural Park Altogarda directly in contact with the Lake Garda:

By car in direction of Gargnano up to the crossroads for Tignale. The beautiful panoramic road that brings aloft salt. Near Gardola to continue toward the Sanctuary of Montecastello, well signalled. ||the Sanctuary of Montecastello, is a place of peace and prayer, but also a fascinating panoramic emplacement cliff above the Lake Garda. About 1 Km far away, in Prabione there is the Visitors Center of the Park Altogarda. The heart of the Visitors Center has represented by way which by images and sounds, evokes characters, reconstructs the environments and their history: the glacier which filled the"Valley of Garda", the formation of the Lake Garda, the oneness of a territory which has flora and climate of the alpine environment and of the Mediterranean one (the Park covers a difference in level which goes from 60 meters o.s. to the 1950 meters o.s.), the traditions and the hardness of the ancient jobs. We continue toward Tremosine going down in the wild Val Tignalga; when we reach Tremosine we meet the dairy Alpe del Garda where we can stop for tasting and buying the typical cheeses. At the first small crossroads turn to the right in direction of Pieve. After 10 Kms we arrive to Pieve. Panoramic points: the cliffhanger terrace. At the first small rotatory turn to the right in direction of Campione. Hold your breath because for about 8 Kms we fall toward the Lake Garda in a gorge between the rock.
