We depart from Limone by boat and in about 15 minutes we reach the small city of Malcesine. About 500 meters away from the small harbour we find the cableway. The plant is separated in two sections: the first one, Malcesine - S. Michele, the second one, S. Michele - Monte Baldo. The most important new feature of this cableway, and one that makes it totally unique throughout the world, is the cabin on the second section, which rotates on itself to give passengers a 360° view, as well as the sensation that they are flying. The notable total difference in altitude (1650 m.) has completed in only 10 minutes. In one of the few beautiful summerdays, from the top of the mount can be seen to naked eye, northwards the snowy peaks of Adamello-Brenta's glacier, eastwards Venice. From the meadows of Monte Baldo fly away colored paraglides which plunges itself in the blue of Lake Garda. A pic-nic on the grass could be a nice idea. The cableway-boxes carry also the bicycles. For the of mountain bike and trekking experts, from the top-station numerous paths depart and cross the whole crest of the Monte Baldo-chain or go down to Malcesine, Nago and Torbole. In the summer if we go down to Malga Prà Alpesina (ca 2,5 Kms) we can see the cows to graze and purchase the cheeses here produced.
